Runnin’ (Lose It All)

This arrangement shows two drastically different interpretations of the song all over the course of one 5-minute composition. The first half is moody and drawn-out, with thick, dissonant chords and ominous textures, allowing the desperation of the solo to ring out. Then, when the second soloist enters, the song suddenly picks up tempo and is all about rhythm, motion, and bright, forward-moving energy. The soaring belted pads from the background vocals at the end of the song and a sly key change at the last moment really make this arrangement one to remember.
